What Other Equipment
Would You Like For Your Outdoor Kitchen?
You have now chosen the grill for your kitchen but what
other basic outdoor kitchen equipment would you like to include
in your finished design.
For example if you want you could include some grill
accessories such as a griddle, or a basket for grilling fish
and vegetables.
Also you may decide that you want to have some side burners,
but more often than not these are already included with some of
the better grills that you can purchase today.
Below we provide you with some other basic pieces of
equipment that you may want to consider including in your
outdoor kitchen design.
1. Patio Heaters. These are a must if you are planning to
use your outdoor kitchen at all times of year and even during
the summer they can be quite handy if the weather suddenly
turns a little cool in the evenings.
2. Exhaust Hood. This is particularly important if you want
to stop the smoke out of not just your eyes when you are
cooking but those of your guests.
3. Refrigerator. This is a great inclusion for any outdoor
kitchen as it means that you will have everything to hand when
cooking and it also means no more going backwards and forwards
into the house to get things. Plus it is great if you want to
keep your guests drinks cold.
4. Sink. A stainless steel one is the preferable choice for
many when designing their outdoor kitchens and you can now get
ones that are portable so no extra costs involved in having to
build a sink area into your design. Also they can either be fed
from a hose or from the water supply in the house.
There are some other pieces of outdoor kitchen equipment
that you may also want to consider such as a warming drawer so
that nothing arrives at the table cold. Or you may decide to
get an ice machine or wine cooler as well. Finally you could
also choose to include a wood burning oven in your outdoor
kitchen design for roasting meats and vegetables as well as for
making great pizzas.
The choices of outdoor kitchen equipment that is available
is endless, but really what it comes down to when looking at
additional pieces of equipment for yours is just how much you
have in your budget.
